My First Standalone Application(JAVA)

Introduction

This system helps to manage vehicle reservation in Amazing Destination (pvt) Ltd. I developed to level to manage.

                                 Both users can log using password which user is log in depend on username and password. After log in Transport officers can insert, Update and Delete information about vehicles, Travel Guides and he also can manage information about Transport Officers also. Can see Information about all vehicles and Reservations made for a certain vehicle during a given time period. And transport Officer can see Information about all vehicles and Reservations made for a certain vehicle during a given time period. 

                           After log in Travel Guide can do can search for available vehicles which can accommodate a given number of passengers during a given time period and also he can reserve an available vehicle for a given time period. He can view whether the reservation made is approved or rejected by the Transport Officer and he also can cancel a reservation made by the guide himself.

Database Design

Database has designed according to the following ER-diagram. Five tables have been created such as vehicle, Reserve, Travel Guide and Transport Officer

This interface use to log in. After this interface there is two levels. It depend on username password

This interface use to approved request that travel guide was request.

ü  Vehicles Details Interface

This interface use for vehicles details. There is three tabs that three tabs use to insert , update and delete vehicle details.

ü  Travel Guide Details Interface

This interface use for Travel Guides details. There is three tabs that three tabs use to insert , update and delete Travel Guides details.

ü  Transport Officer Details Interface

This interface use for Transport Officer details. There is three tabs that three tabs use to insert , update and delete Transport Officer details.

This interface use to search that vehicle not reserve in the given time period.

ü  Reserve a vehicle interface

This interface use to Reserve a vehicle. Insert a request.

ü  Remove Requests Interface

This interface use to remove request that travel guide reserved. Only can remove logged in travel guide reserve

Problems Encounter

While implementing there were many problems such as database connection problems, coding problems, report generating problems, i-report net beans connectivity problems....etc
